Hi-
I think I've seen similar reports to this on the list before, but I never noticed any resolution to it. Anyway, my problem is that my printing works fine if I compile the parallel port support into the kernel, but not if I compile it as a module (parport.o + parport_pc.o). When I compile it as a module, the module autoloads when necessary, but lpq still reports that the printer is offline. It's definitely one of these modules causing it, as I have lp.o as a module in both cases. Anyone know why this would happen?
Thanks.
