Problem:
When doing a backup kswapd0 always hangs. Does it both localy and remotely and via ssh
System: Linux 2.6.5 vanilla Dual PIII 1.2GHz, 2GB Ram, RAID SCSI
I can't get SysReq to do a dump, but I do have the ouput of top before it hangs.
here is the command i'm using tar -vc -- /root /etc /home /usr/local /var /usr/portage/packages | bzip2 -c | split -b 500m - /mnt/backup/backup-$(date +%Y%m%d).tar.bz2- &
