What is this? I used PL/1 some time ago, is PLE - PL/1
Extended? Or Enlarged? (just kidding)

If you will provide link to the source code with
documentation - that would help.

Google knows nothing about Ple. (just to check it out
I tried to search for LISP - google knows it well :-).
