Hello all!
several oopses occured on my machine.
I cannot say when or why this happens.
here is the output of ksymoops (its vanilla 2.4.23 - the -pk1 is just my own versioning) - compiled with modules disabled:
--------------------------------------8<--------------------------------------
ksymoops 2.4.5 on i586 2.4.23-pk1. Options used -V (default) -k /proc/ksyms (default) -l /proc/modules (default) -o /lib/modules/2.4.23-pk1/ (default) -m /boot/System.map-2.4.23-pk1 (default)
Warning: You did not tell me where to find symbol information. I will assume that the log matches the kernel and modules that are running right now and I'll use the default options above for symbol resolution. If the current kernel and/or modules do not match the log, you can get more accurate output by telling me the kernel version and where to find map, modules, ksyms etc. ksymoops -h explains the options.
Error (regular_file): read_ksyms stat /proc/ksyms failed No modules in ksyms, skipping objects No ksyms, skipping lsmod Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000028 c014135b *pde = 00000000 Oops: 0000 CPU: 0 EIP: 0010:[<c014135b>] Not tainted Using defaults from ksymoops -t elf32-i386 -a i386 EFLAGS: 00010217 eax: 0000ec72 ebx: 00000000 ecx: 0000000d edx: c1170000 esi: 00000000 edi: 00000000 ebp: c1176b78 esp: c46bfec4 ds: 0018 es: 0018 ss: 0018 Process find (pid: 1167, stackpage=c46bf000) Stack: c253dec0 c1176b78 0000ec72 c7d9e000 c0141700 c7d9e000 0000ec72 c1176b78 00000000 00000000 c253dec0 c4297980 c253dec0 c3fb56e0 c0165a43 c7d9e000 0000ec72 00000000 00000000 fffffff4 c4297980 c013789b c4297980 c253dec0 Call Trace: [<c0141700>] [<c0165a43>] [<c013789b>] [<c0137fc7>] [<c0138266>] [<c01383d7>] [<c0138612>] [<c0135499>] [<c012eab3>] [<c0108853>] Code: 39 46 28 75 38 8b 44 24 14 39 86 ac 00 00 00 75 2c 85 ff 74
