That's not a documentation. There's e. g. nothing about colormaps. When I
set mode with 15, 16 or 24 bits, dark colors are very strange (cyan, red
or something like that), when I set palette (in 24 bit mode!) the colors
change.

"Documentation" says nothing about it.
