Hey lkml-people!
I got an oops with kernel 2.3.48, the system was under high cpu load (0.6% idle, mpeg2-enconding)..
---<cut oops>--- Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 0104928d printing eip: c012ba67 *pde = 00000000 Oops: 0002 CPU: 0 EIP: 0010:[<c012ba67>] EFLAGS: 00010206 eax: 01049289 ebx: cb139360 ecx: 00000011 edx: aba5ac9b esi: 00000010 edi: cde24aa0 ebp: bffff908 esp: cae95f6c ds: 0018 es: 0018 ss: 0018 Process gnomexmms (pid: 2019, stackpage=cae95000) Stack: 00000000 cde24aa0 c0188de7 00000000 08087338 080647d0 c0189754 cde24aa0 00000000 cde24aa0 c018a3bb 00000001 00000001 00000000 cae94000 00000001 00000001 00000000 bffffa28 38b989f0 00021159 c010ac94 00000001 bffff850 Call Trace: [<c0188de7>] [<c0189754>] [<c018a3bb>] [<c010ac94>] Code: 89 50 04 89 02 ff 0d 20 65 1f c0 31 c0 b9 17 00 00 00 89 df ---</cut oops>---
output of ksymoops:
---<cut ksymoops>--- ksymoops 2.3.3 on i586 2.3.48. Options used -V (default) -k /proc/ksyms (default) -l /proc/modules (default) -o /lib/modules/2.3.48/ (default) -m /usr/src/linux/System.map (default)
Warning: You did not tell me where to find symbol information. I will assume that the log matches the kernel and modules that are running right now and I'll use the default options above for symbol resolution. If the current kernel and/or modules do not match the log, you can get more accurate output by telling me the kernel version and where to find map, modules, ksyms etc. ksymoops -h explains the options.
