I experienced the oops appended below last night on my i586 running 2.2.12. The system was idle at the time. Some relevant sofware version numbers are:

Gnu C 2.95.1 (I compiled with -fno-strict-aliasing) Binutils 2.9.1.0.15 Linux C Library 5.4.46 Dynamic Linker (ld.so) 1.9.9 Linux C++ Library 27.2.1 Procps 1.2.7 Mount 2.9g Net-tools (1998-06-29) Kbd 0.96 Sh-utils 2.0
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- ksymoops 0.7c on i586 2.2.12. Options used -V (default) -k /proc/ksyms (default) -l /proc/modules (default) -o /lib/modules/2.2.12/ (default) -m /usr/src/linux/System.map (default)
Warning: You did not tell me where to find symbol information. I will assume that the log matches the kernel and modules that are running right now and I'll use the default options above for symbol resolution. If the current kernel and/or modules do not match the log, you can get more accurate output by telling me the kernel version and where to find map, modules, ksyms etc. ksymoops -h explains the options.
