I've tried this mouse with both a kernel I compiled myself (2.2.6) used with RedHat 5.2 and the default kernel which comes with RedHat 6.0 (2.2.5-15). It doesn't work with either one. However, when using kernel version 2.0.36 which orginally came with RedHat 5.2, the mouse wheel worked fine. The mouse (P/N: 850612-1000) has a RF receiver which plugs into a standard PS/2 port.
