Hmm, that's wierd. If it plugs into the standard ps/2 port I can't think of a reason that it shouldn't work. I believe the keyboard and ps/2 mouse has been combined into one driver. May be that's causing the "problem?" Something in the keyboard driver that is messing up your mouse? I seem to remember something on the list about auto detection failures with some mice or keyboards, so a search may be in order.
