Hello everyone,
I encountered some problems on /dev/hda1 ext2 file system.
I've never had problems like this on this machine before. Everything was running fine except that I noticed syslog(ing) functions were running really slow.
After looking around a bit more and couldn't find anything else I rebooted and /dev/hda1 came up with errors which I fixed using fsck. And everything is fine now.
Jul 12 04:02:12 hedwig kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device Jul 12 04:02:12 hedwig kernel: 03:01: rw=0, want=591152, limit=104800 Jul 12 04:02:12 hedwig kernel: EXT2-fs error (device ide0(3,1)): ext2_readdir: directory #16240 contains a hole at offset 1024
I am running 2.2.9, rh6.0, PII350, 32M, Hewlet Packard Vectra.
