Subjectvmware Problem with locking

Hello,

if we want to start vmware on our 2GB Netfinity we got from vmware the
following:
(USER) HostLinux: LockAddressRange failed

with strace we got:

..
mmap(0, 364544, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_SHARED, 7, 0x2062000) =
0x2ad19000
sigprocmask(SIG_BLOCK, NULL, []) = 0
ioctl(6, 0xcf, 0x2ad19000) = 0
time(NULL) = 929706009
writev(4, [{"Jun 18 11:40:09: ", 17}, {"HostLinux: LockAddressRange
fail"..., 35
}], 2) = 52
..

The netfinity was patched for 2GB with the help from
include/asm-i386/page.h.

Thanks,
Thomas
