SubjectKernel 2.2.3: brandnew IBM disk - NO DMA possible
Date
Hi,

having a brandnew IBM DJNA 372200 22GB EIDE disk drive I can't get it using
DMA,
hdparm -i shows it's possible, hdparm -d 1 enables is for some seconds but
disables soon.
An older IBM DHEA 6,4 GB drive worked perfectly, no changes to BIOS settings
or other changes.

Anybody some idea?
Marcus
