Hello, [1.] Token-ring memory crash with kernel 2.1 and 2.2 [2.] We have some Linux systems PCI/SCSI, PCI/IDE, MCA/SCSI all these systems have Token-ring adapters. we have had this problem with all these systems in Linux 2.1 and 2.2 (no problem with the 2.0 kernel) for a long time, the Systems crash while looping on the messages:
kmem_alloc: Bad Slab magic(corrupt) (name=size-128) tr0: out of memory. frame dropped. ...
or with these messages:
CPU: 0 EIP: 0010:[<c011ea1c>] EFLAGS: 00010086 eax:... .... Code: 8b 69 08 81 fd 2b 2f c3 a5 0f 85 dd 00 00 00 8b 69 0c 85 ed Aiee, killing interrupt handler Kernel panic: Attempted to kill the idle task! In swapper task - not syncing
