Hi,
in case you get this twice, I am sorry, slight mail problems.
Setup:
Linux 2.2.3 with nfsd module (knfsd) on Alpha LX 164, RedHat 5.2 all updates.
Problem: --------
Transient gcc/egcs Sig11 when compiling large packages, e.g. egcs itself. Transient meaning I get and internal compiler error Sig11 at a file, retry the compile of that file, and it works which might hint at memory/cache problems.
Solution: --------
Remove the nfsd module and revert to userland nfsd.
