Hi,
I just logged off my notebook system and it printed the following error and stops working (it just hangs now...)
divide error: 0000 CPU: 0 EIP: 0010:[<00110e7f>] EFLAGS: 00010087 eax: 0f77cd1a ebx: 011a6377 ecx: 0001c959 edx: ffffffb8 esi: 12e4aaed edi: 00000000 ebp: bffffc1c esp: 0009af88 ds: 0018 es: 0018 fs: 002b gs: 002b ss: 0018 Process init (pid: 1, process nr: 1, stackpage=0009a000) Stack: 0009afb0 00000246 0000009e 00110f7a bffffbf0 00000000 00119158 0009afb0 0009b414 bffffa9c 36eea9a1 000c58b5 0010ac15 bffffbf0 00000000 0804fadc bffffa9c 0000009e bffffc1c ffffffda 0000002b bfff002b 0024002b 0000002b Call Trace: [<00110f7a>] [<00119158>] [<0010ac15>] Code: f7 f1 ba 10 27 00 00 89 c1 31 c0 f7 f1 a3 2c af 24 00 89 c3
I'm using kernel version 2.0.36 and after this error my machine just stops and hangs for ever... (until I pull out my battery)
regards, gerhard
