I tried this and:
./digiConfigure ... then
[root@lcjdap epcav1-3-4/dl]# ./digiDload Initializing PC/Xe with 2 ports .....<Error> - reset_card : PCXE not resetting line 2540: Out of range, cmd = ec, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff line 2540: Out of range, cmd = e0, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff line 2540: Out of range, cmd = e1, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff line 2540: Out of range, cmd = ec, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff line 2540: Out of range, cmd = e0, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff line 2540: Out of range, cmd = e1, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff Digi PC/Xx Driver V1.1.0: PC/Xe I/O = 0x320 Mem = 0xd0000 Ports = 2 digiDload complete : Card initialized [root@lcjdap epcav1-3-4/dl]#
The problem is that my Digiboard has 16 ports not 2 and still it looks like it isn't working to well... (et all actually):
[root@lcjdap ~]# cu -oe -lttyD0 -s19200 dir line 2540: Out of range, cmd = e9, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff line 2540: Out of range, cmd = e9, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff ati4 atz
(Ctrl+C)
cu: Got interrupt signal cu: Can't change terminal settings: Interrupted system call line 2540: Out of range, cmd = e2, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff line 2540: Out of range, cmd = e9, head = ffff line 2542: Out of range, cmdMax = 20002, cmdStart = ffff [root@lcjdap ~]#

It got the latest epca driver (epcav-1-3-4) from ftp://ftp.dgii.com/drivers/linux/beta/async/40001450E2P.tar
"" DigiWARE Release Notes for Digi Asynchronous Driver version 1.3.4 (Beta) November 5, 1998

If I patch the kernel with this driver the epca module can't compile... :( complaining of...
