SubjectTCP stalls in 2.2.1
From
Date
There are still here. I've never got them with older 2.1 kernels.

Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State
tcp 0 29566 intrepid.pm.waw.pl:nntp intrepid.pm.waw.p:nterm ESTABLI
tcp 0 0 intrepid.pm.waw.p:nterm intrepid.pm.waw.pl:nntp ESTABLI

Notice this is the same TCP connection.

Linux version 2.2.1 (gcc version 2.7.2.3) i586.

I can provide any details on request. What I can't provide is tcpdump
- the stalls occur once a few days, usually (always?) on a connection
from Xemacs/Gnus (reading news headers) to INN.
