[1.] One line summary of the problem:
Kernel panic mounting a CD-A in my SCSI reader with AHA-152x.
[2.] Full description of the problem/report:
I have an AHA 1520B Adaptec SCSI controller. It handles two devices: a Pioneer 40x SCSI CD reader and a Teac CD-R55s 4x12 CD writer (more info in section 7.5 of the report).
When I try to mount a CD-Audio, the kernel get a Panic from the controller driver. I tried many of them, but the results do not change.
The panic is this "aha152x panic: target left COMMAND".
Note: YES, I know I shouldn't mount an audio CD, but I can make a mistake and mount an Audio-CD thinking it's my favourite Linux Distribution disk 1. SO it's a problem.
[3.] Keywords (i.e., modules, networking, kernel):
scsi, aha152x
[4.] Kernel version (from /proc/version):
Linux dash 2.2.12 #3 dom oct 17 18:01:37 CEST 1999 i586 unknown
[5.] Output of Oops.. message (if applicable) with symbolic information resolved (see Documentation/oops-tracing.txt)
[6.] A small shell script or example program which triggers the problem (if possible)
It's simple. 1.) I put a CD-Audio in my reader 2.) Mount /cdrom
[7.] Environment
[7.1.] Software (add the output of the ver_linux script here)
