I was wondering if the lock_kernel calls in kernel/exec_domain.c::sys_personality() could be removed?
In fs/binfmt_elf.c and fs/binfmt_aout.c, practically the same code exists (grep for lookup_exec_domain), but is not surrounded by a kernel lock at all.
