Hello,
I am trying to get my SB PCI 128 to work under Linux with the kernel drivers and have tried various kernel versions (including 2.2.14pre4 and 2.3.26), but so far with no success. It detects the card and the correct IRQ and ioports, but I do not get any sound. It _does_ work with the latest OSS/Linux drivers, though (see below for output from /dev/sndstat with this driver).
My card has chips with the following names/labels:
CREATIVE CT5880-DBQ 9925H J5050
SIGMATEL STAC9708T CB3552 9926
(there are a few others, but these seemed like the main ones, if you are interested in the others let me know)
Here is the output from dmesg in 2.3.26 with the es1371 kernel driver:

/dev/sndstat just gives me "No such device".
