Paul,
from the README of PPP 2.3.10 I understand that you do the fine work for the Linux version of pppd -- which I really love (but I guess I don't have to tell you that because otherwise I would not be using it).
I use PPP to dial into an NT server with call back. Unfortunately, now I get the following when activating debug mode -- which I cannot correctly interpret:
Serial connection established. Using interface ppp0 Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/modem sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <asyncmap 0x0> <auth chap MD5> <callback CBCP> <magic 0x2159a4a9> <pcomp> <accomp>] rcvd [LCP ConfReq id=0x0 <asyncmap 0x0> <auth chap m$oft> <magic 0x22ef> <pcomp> <accomp>] sent [LCP ConfAck id=0x0 <asyncmap 0x0> <auth chap m$oft> <magic 0x22ef> <pcomp> <accomp>] rcvd [LCP ConfRej id=0x1 <auth chap MD5>] sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x2 <asyncmap 0x0> <callback CBCP> <magic 0x2159a4a9> <pcomp> <accomp>] rcvd [LCP ConfAck id=0x2 <asyncmap 0x0> <callback CBCP> <magic 0x2159a4a9> <pcomp> <accomp>] cbcp_lowerup want: 14 peer refused to authenticate: terminating link sent [LCP TermReq id=0x3 "peer refused to authenticate"] rcvd [CHAP Challenge id=0xc <0ff5f9d502a9a2c4>, name = ""] rcvd [LCP TermAck id=0x3] Connection terminated. Terminating on signal 2. Connect script failed
Could you give me a hint on what is going wrong and how I might fix it?
Thanks, Parto.
