Has this been noticed? /proc/meminfo prints bytes when it should print kilobytes, and vice versa:
chief:~> cat /proc/meminfo total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached: Mem: 157080 60744 96336 0 832 26204 Swap: 657981440 12664832 645316608 MemTotal: 157080 kB MemFree: 96336 kB MemShared: 0 kB Buffers: 832 kB Cached: 26204 kB HighTotal: 0 kB HighFree: 0 kB SwapTotal: 657981440 kB SwapFree: 645316608 kB
