The build instructions are confusing (adding module to kernel source tree like that is ugly). The claim that it is already in 2.2 when there isn't a 2.2 yet (and wasn't even a 2.2pre when it started saying that AFAIK) is a rather strange one.... Perhaps a hope for the future? As far as I can tell, 2.2.0-pre4 has ftape 3.something.
