| |
Hello all,
On my system at home, I have an 8GB hard drive with a 4GB Windows 98 partition along with an extended partition holding Linux and its swap space. Somehow, every time I boot 2.2.0pre2 and 2.2.0pre4, the FAT32 filesystem code does something to the bootsector that causes both Windows and Linux to incorrectly report free disk space. I am able to repair it each time I run Scandisk under Windows, but it keeps recurring each time the Linux kernel is booted. This phenomenon does not occur with 2.0.36.
I don't have my config files handy, but if you need them, I'll be happy to e-mail them.
Thanks, --Arthur
