(Linux lithium 2.2.0-pre7-ac4 #68 Fri Jan 15 14:06:47 EST 1999 i586 unknown)
output from modprobe tuner: i2c: initialized
output from modprobe bttv: Linux video capture interface: v1.00 bttv0: Brooktree Bt878 (rev 2) bus: 0, devfn: 64, irq: 9, memory: 0xe8001000. PCI: Enabling bus mastering for device 00:40 bttv: 1 Bt8xx card(s) found. bttv0: Hauppauge eeprom: tuner=Philips FM1236 (2) bttv0: audio chip: TDA9850 bttv0: model: BT878(Hauppauge new)
Yet, I cannot change the channel in xawtv when I've attached coaxial from my antenna to the bt878's tuner. Does using the v4l driver as a module or compiled in to the kernel make a difference?
