I have been experiencing these for the last week. THe machine in question syslog's to another machine, so I was able to get some info from the kernel related to the crashes.
The unable to handle kernel paging requests always happened in a packet decompression.
I turned of compression on the link in question and the machine has been up solidly since then.
The link in question is over an ET5025 card and uses their binary module, but I think it uses the compression in PPP for it's compression.
