hi!
IBM harddisk are known to make troubles when the disk takes a request and notices that a recalibration is necessary. the disk simply skips the request which leads to an irq timeout under linux. i've such a non-server-version harddisk IBM and much troubles with DMA bus mastering - does any1 know how to workaround the problem ?
