Subjectpcmcia problem
Ive got a pcmcia card modem and I recently upgraded to 2.1.88. With 2.0.33
I have the pcmcia-cs software which initializes my modem allowing me to
use ppp. However, with 2.1.88 I cant get past the configure with
pcmcia-cs...so I cant run ppp. When I attempt to connect, here's the error
I get:

Mar 13 21:21:35 seal143 pppd[126]: pppd 2.3.3 started by root, uid 0
Mar 13 21:21:35 seal143 pppd[126]: tcgetattr: I/O error(5)
Mar 13 21:21:36 seal143 pppd[126]: Exit.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone knew where to get a working copy
of pcmcia-cs for 2.1.x kernels or if there is another way to get around
this without using the pcmcia-cs software.

The version of pcmcia-cs is pcmcia-cs-2.9.12 (newest as far as i know)
