I'm running a builtin modem on a new PC.
It works fine with win95.
It says in windows: com4 port 0x2e8 irq 12
I don't see it in autodetect (its a shark modem).
I've done some setserial commands, but to no avail...
I've tried this: [root@dw /tmp]# setserial /dev/cua3 uart 16550 port 0x2e8 irq 12 [root@dw /tmp]# cat </dev/cua3 cat: -: I/O error [root@dw /tmp]# ls -l /dev/cua3 crw-rw-rw- 1 root uucp 5, 67 Dec 31 1979 /dev/cua3 [root@dw /tmp]#
What's the magic incantations to get it to work (its a Hayes compatible modem).
