SubjectBottom half
Where exactly did the concept/name of a ``bottom half'' of an interrupt
handler originate? I know it dates back to at least v7 and probably
earlier versions of Unix. I was wondering if it predates Unix and, if
so, where it originated.

Thanks in advance,
