A fix has been made, it's in the latest version of the aic7xxx driver, but that won't help your boot disks unless you have someplace to compile a new kernel. You can get the updated driver from ftp://ftp.pcnet.com/users/eische n/Linux and use them. Or, you can wait for 2.0.31 since this updated driver is slated for inclusion there. -- ***************************************************************************** * Doug Ledford * Unix, Novell, Dos, Windows 3.x, * * dledford@dialnet.net 873-DIAL * WfW, Windows 95 & NT Technician * * PPP access $14.95/month ***************************************** * Springfield, MO and surrounding * Usenet news, e-mail and shell account.* * communities.
