SubjectKURT: KU Real Time Linux (PATCH)
Date

Hi Everyone,
This is to announce the release of yet another patch from us.
This is for making Linux realtime.

Now you must be thinking...what?? Yet another realtime linux??....

Relax...this is quite different from RTLinux from Yodaiken and
Barabanov and from the POSIX real time scheduling already in the
kernel. This is a firm real-time Linux. (Basically it has more
accurate scheduling than the Posix soft real-time scheduling...but it
is not as good as the hard real-time scheduling of RTLinux). The
advantage of this system is that it allows use of all Linux subsystems
(like the network code, device drivers etc) within the real-time
tasks. In addition, you can write modules to perform any real-time
task very easily.

Please visit http://hegel.ittc.ukans.edu/projects/kurt/ for further details.

Thanx
balaji
