hello Linux guys !
here is a strange rcp problem found on a 2.0.5.
take two linux machines, says mach_A and mach_B:
take 2 programs, says prog1 anf prog2 which just make respectively printf("hello\n") and printf("world\n")
on mach_A, do : rcp /tmp/prog1 mach_B:/tmp/prog on mach_B, do : /tmp/prog , it give "hello" , good !
now
on mach_A, do : rcp /tmp/prog2 mach_B:/tmp/prog on mach_B, do : /tmp/prog , it still give "hello" , NOT good !
as far as i can see , the problem does not appairs with a local cp, just with rcp !
if mach_B is under linux1.2.13 (without changing anything else ) the problem does not appairs !!
Have Fun !
