SubjectRe: undelete in user space?
I suppose I'm a bit late on this one but.. Wouldn't it be best to
implement undelete in user space using a new rm? One could write it so
that it was used just like the original (same options etc..) but instead
of actually deleting the file, it copies it to ~/undelete or something..
You could make it delete the oldest file(s) in the ~/undelete dir after
it reached a predetermined size. Simple, clean. could make the new
file called rm.undelete or something, and make it an alias to rm for
those users who wanted it. Anyway.. I'm sure a little thought could
make this a useful thing..
