Subject1.99.5 NI6510 + locking failures
Date
when upgrading from 1.99.4 to 1.99.5 and .6, this happens :

May 21 14:16:27 grobbebol linux: eth0: ni6510 found at 0x360, IRQ 12 DMA 5.
May 21 14:16:27 grobbebol linux: eth0: unable to alloc receive-memory
in lower 16MB!

May 21 14:17:33 grobbebol sendmail[146]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): cannot
lockf(/etc/aliases.dir, fd=5, type=1, omode=37777777777, euid=0):
Device or resource busy

the latter message is repeated during the OS run.

I have traced it back to the switch from 1.99.4 --> 1.99.5. previous kernels
don't have the lockf message and NI6510 failure.; I also checked 1.99.6
which operates like 1.99.5 in this respect.

I hope it has value to the kernel developers.
