Do I have a broken tool somewhere that causes the following to fail?
nexus@thune[6:52pm]/usr/src(331) tar xzf linux-1.3.70.tar.gz nexus@thune[6:54pm]/usr/src(332) sh linux/scripts/patch-kernel Current kernel version is 1.3.70 Applying patch-1.3.71.gz... Patch failed. Clean up yourself. nexus@thune[6:56pm]/usr/src(333)
bash$ set BASH=/bin/bash BASH_VERSION=1.14.5(1)
patch 2.1 gzip 1.2.4 libc-5.3.5 Running on kernel 1.3.70.
Patching appears to work, but I nearly had a heart attack the first time I tried to use that script. mrc -- Mike Castle .-=NEXUS=-. Life is like a clock: You can work constantly mcastle@cs.umr.edu and be right all the time, or not work at all mcastle@umr.edu and be right at least twice a day. -- mrc We are all of us living in the shadow of Manhattan. -- Watchmen
