If (a) menuconfig decides rebuildsound should be true (which is the case whenever the kernel version has changed, whether or not TASD has changed one iota) and (b) I exit without saving changes, drivers/sound/local.h is incorrect (it lacks SOUND_{CONFIG_{DATE,BY},UNAME_A}). Menuconfig should probably either back these files up or run `make -C drivers/sound kernelconfig' unconditionally.
