Subjectxconfig stopped working in 1.3.79

Surprised I haven't seen this...

xconfig stopped worked (I added a patch, then got the original tar, same
results).

I just do make xconfig; and then save/quit and get:
can't read "varname_MODULE": no such variable
while executing
"puts $file2 "#define $varname_MODULE..."
invoked from within
"if { $variable == 0 } then { puts $file1 "# $varname is not set"; puts
$file2 "#undef $varname"} elseif { $variable == 2 || ($dep == 2 && $variable

&& ([$w cget -state] ..."
(procedure "tkButtonUp" line 3)
invoked from within
"tkButtonUp .f0_bot.r.save"
(command bound to event)

I'm not a tk maven yet...
