SubjectPPP Connections in 1.3.77 almost unusable!
OK guys...as of around 1.3.73 or so (running 1.3.77 now) my PPP connections
are having lots of trouble because of fragmented packets.

Someone said a while ago "why would anyone want to run an MRU other than
1500?"...well, I have a terminal server (equinox) with poor flow control and
anything over an MRU of 536 overruns it causing horrendous performance.

Here's the config:

Home(Win95 or Linux) -> Equinox -> Linux -> ISP
28.8 Ethernet 28.8

If I run an MRU of 536 packets get truncated when forward to the home link.
If I run an MRU of 1500 the equinox gets overflowed when doing FTP or any
large transfer. Catch-22 :-(

tcpdump shows the packets getting truncated over the home link after being
received OK from the ISP.

Are there plans to fix this I hope?
