I already called Adaptec.
"Solaris is not a supported operating system." "Linux is not a supported operating system."
Solaris installation guide indicates that you have to do everything in your power to slow the CPU down so that it doesn't beat on the SCSI card too much. In theory, after you install Solaris and the patches you can speed your PC back up; it never worked for me...

What is this known bug and where do I find info about it? Where is this Solaris info? And yes, I WILL check with Adaptec.
