For several releases of the O/S, since 1.3.5? or 1.3.6?, I have been getting the following error:
tpqic02: Unexpected interrupt, stat == 8e
I used to get 10-15 of them when doing an FTP. I now get one now and then. I am using 1.3.72 currently. I have a Wangtek 5150 EQ at interrupt level 7. I am not using the tape at the time I get the error. Anybody have any idea what could be causing this? From the tape handler code, it looks like it is a spurious interrupt. Also, I am using RedHat 2.1.
TIA
Jim
