It ain't me and it ain't memorex so it must be Linux...the second level boot loader in 1.3.75 is missing the ball. When I try to boot, rather than the horizontal march of the dots, I get a vertical march of the error records. 1.3.75 boots fine from the fixed disk, where I use LILO as a secondary loader (OS/2 Boot Manager being the primary), but a floppy built by 'dd'ing the compressed image to the disk doesn't make it. I ripped the system apart assuming that the problem was the dust bunny colony growing beyond all bounds, but that was not it. I can build a half dozen trial disks of 75 (under 74 or 75) and all fail identically, though a trial disk of 74 built in the same session works fine.
