Subject2.0.27 ignores "reserve=" option
Date
From

This is for 2.0.27.

I'm using a kernel with some special hardware (a NCR-based framegrabber
card), which I don't want autodetected. Therefore, I put
append="reserve=0x6000" into my /etc/lilo.conf. AFAIK, this should
disable autodetection of the hardware in that area. However, this
does not work:

$ cat /proc/cmdline
auto BOOT_IMAGE=Linux ro root=812 reserver=0x6000
$ cat /proc/ioports
