Hi, I upgraded from 2.0.6 to 2.1.9. Apart from the known tty problems with 2.1.9, I have lost some other functionality too. I've upgraded also binutils, libcc, libg++ and the other stuff as suggested in .../linux/Documentation/Changes. The only thing I've not updated yet is gcc, because of it's size. I haven't been able to execute 'more' any more. Also, I have some weird behaviours in other programs, one of them is the game Maelstrom which now opens a *BIG* window on the screen (encompassing a 4x2 virtual screen) and then draws only in the leftmost part of this window. Also apropos is dumping core. I now have the suspect that I'd rather have upgraded cgg *before* the other stuff, but now that the damage is done, will it suffice to recompile the utils and the libraries and reinstall them or do I have to do something else? Last but not least, I haven't been able to compile anything greater than kernel 2.1.9, but I was warned of this in Changes. I just want to know if I can put the whole stuff back on the right way or do I have to revert to 2.0.6 and restart.
Pf
