We've already had this discussion. I'm not making any exceptions for
NFS to rules that apply to all filesystems.

If you want the rules to change, then you need to talk to the entire
filesystem community and get them to accept that the VFS level
implementation of error handling is incorrect.

That's my final word on this subject.
