Was this intended? It would result in extra/unneeded memory
allocations on a615/a618/a630..

From looking at the patch, I'm under the impression that a619 is kinda
like a618 but with newer gmu? Possibly these cases should be based on
gmu version rather than gpu version?

Maybe Akhil has an opinion?

Hmm, we aren't actually using for a618.. not sure if that is good or bad..

The values don't appear to match what is captured in devcore dumps
from a618, maybe Akhil could check
