I'd say we should maintain here requests == errors + requests.

Intuitively, I'd rename local variable requests to successes, and I'd apply:
net->cq_stats.requests += successes + errors;
net->cq_stats.errors += errors;
net->cq_stats.successes += successes;

Or am I missing something?
