To me it looks like the bug existed before commit 5e63a598441a:

- ret = sdio_read_reg(wilc, WILC_INTR2_ENABLE, &reg);
+ ret = wilc_sdio_read_reg(wilc, WILC_INTR2_ENABLE, &reg);
