JFYI, I put the reserved command v6 patchset and $subject patchset on
this branch:

https://github.com/hisilicon/kernel-dev/commits/private-topic-blk-mq-shared-tags-rfc-v8-resv-v6-baseline

I don't have HW to test hpsa or smartpqi.
