Who turns on the watchdog? If it's in the bootloader,
you can't rely on CONFIG_WATCHDOG_HANDLE_BOOT_ENABLED feeding it till
userspace takes over because the stpmic1_wdt doesn't populate
WDOG_HW_RUNNING in status.

You sent out v4 with a phy address of 7 though.
Did you get it working meanwhile?
